Bob Tasca III can't be stopped!

Not only has Bob III won two events back to back but he also managed to beat out the living legend, John Force to win the final Wally at the Atlanta Dragway, in true Cinderella story fashion.

Seems as though Bob is finally tasting the fruits of years of hard work and dedication. The cumulation of his and his team's efforts was on full display at the Atlanta drag way this past weekend. Bob initially qualified in the number two position with a 3.999 at 320.81. From there the Tasca team smelled blood in the water and decided to push the pedal to the medal (No pun intended) Led by Mike's invaluable crew Cheif, Mike Neff, Tasca III beat out, Blake Alexander with a 4.014 at 326.32 allowing Bob to advance to the final round.

Bob's final round of the event was certainly one for the books. His opponent, John Force was a formidable opponent having racked up 257 final round appearances. Bob himself recounts how intimidating it can be competing against a succession of drivers all too familiar with spots on the podium.

" We win and lose races by thousandths of a second and in last week's case one ten thousandths of a second. it's competitive when you're competing against the John Forces and the Don Schumacher operations and the Kalitta's you know these are dynasties. These are guys that have been doing it since the '60s '70s '80s"
