Concord, NC (May 29, 2017) - Tasca Racing is bringing Bob Tasca III and his PPG Ford Shelby Mustang back east looking for a win at his home track to compete in the NHRA New England Nationals at New England Dragway in Epping, NH from June 2-4 as part of the 2017 NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series.

PPG is back to support Tasca Racing. “My family has used PPG for many years. We share a great relationship. If it wasn’t for their support we would not be racing this event. I’m excited both to run PPG’s  colors and also to host over 300 of their customers and guests during the race weekend. PPG has always seen the value in NHRA Drag Racing and they get the most out of each event!” says Tasca.

Confidence is running high for Tasca Racing, and Bob Tasca III is enthusiastic: “In just 3 races we are running as strong as my team has every run. We have a very consistent race car that keeps getting stronger with every pass and we just came out of Topeka with career best runs and a huge first round win against John Force. We believe we have as good a chance to win this weekend as anyone!”

A part-time racing schedule isn’t holding Tasca Racing back. “A part-time schedule can make it difficult to catch your stride, but things have really come together for our team. I am very fortunate to have an amazing group of guys working on our car. It’s critical to make sure the car is assembled correctly. My team is made up of experienced racers and that’s what makes our team a contender at every race we enter! We are in a great place entering the New England race,” says Bob Tasca III.

Tasca competes in races around the country, but bringing it back east to New Hampshire – and closer to home – is clearly meaningful for Bob. “I love racing in New England. To be able to have so many friends and family get to experience the excitement of NHRA drag racing in their backyard makes for a fun weekend.  I have so many memories racing at this track that I look forward to making a few more this weekend!”
